Skylender Fusion Core – Dual Profile Practice Lock

The Skylender Fusion Core combines two cylinder types in a single training lock. One side has a Euro profile, the other side a dimple profile. This design enables targeted training on two different lock architectures without needing multiple practice locks.

The lock has a modular construction with side screws giving you access to the pins. With the included allen key you loosen the hex screws and replace springs and pins as desired. This allows you to fine-tune the difficulty level to match your training goals. You can start with a simple configuration and gradually add security pins such as spools and serrated pins.

The cylinder uses standard pin sizes that you can supplement with separate pin sets. For expanding your training possibilities, various pin and spring combinations are available. The variety in pin types and configurations provides a training path that supports different lock picking techniques such as single pin picking and various raking methods.

A recommended tool for configuring the lock’s pins is the Grimgo Pinning Tweezers. The small notch in these tweezers allows you to easily insert or remove pins. A must-have for anyone working with pins.

One side of the training lock has open grooves allowing you to observe pin movement during practice. The other side is closed for realistic training without visual feedback. This gives you the choice between instructive exercises where you see the mechanics and challenging sessions that approach real lock picking situations.

The set includes a base configuration with key pins, driver pins and springs. The training lock measures 30/10/30 mm and fits in standard bench vises. When using with an electric lock pick gun, it’s important to regularly check the hex screws as vibrations can loosen them. The lock is suitable for use with various lock pick sets and pick profiles.
