Returns & cancellations

At Lockpickings, you have 30 days to reconsider your order. The reconsideration period starts on the day you receive your order. See all the conditions below.

Your right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after the day of receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 30 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning the item from your home to me are at your own expense. These costs are approximately €4.25 per package (for returns from the Netherlands); please consult your carrier’s website for the exact rates.

Return conditions

If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to me with all supplied accessories and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging.

Note: Handle with care!

If the product is damaged or the packaging is more damaged than necessary to try the product, I may charge you for the depreciation of the product. So handle the product with care and ensure it is well packaged for a return.

Specific points of attention:

  1. Lock components must be returned complete and sorted.
  2. Lockpicks and tools must be undamaged (normal signs of use during testing are of course allowed).
  3. Practice locks may have been tried out but must be complete with all pins and springs and must not contain scratches.

How does returning work?

Returning at Lockpickings is easy and can be done within 30 days. Follow the instructions below to create a return label.

The three important deadlines

  1. 30 days reconsideration: You have 30 days after receipt to decide whether to keep the product.
  2. 14 days return: After your return notification, you have another 14 days to actually send the product back to me.
  3. 14 days refund: I will refund your order amount (including shipping costs) within 14 days after your return notification, provided the product has been received back in good order.

Important points of attention

  1. Include the packing slip so I can assist you faster.
  2. Circle what you are returning on the packing slip.
  3. Register your return via info@lockpickings.com to speed up the process.
  4. In case of a defective product, please contact me first before returning.
