Lock Rekeying Set

Do you want to rekey your own locks? This is the set you need to disassemble and rekey your cylinder locks. It’s compact and well-designed.

First, you will receive two cylinder holders in this set. These are designed to hold the cylinder core of the lock. One of the cylinder holders is suitable for European cylinder locks. The other is slightly smaller, making it ideal for holding the cylinder core of a padlock.

In addition, you get a long-nose pliers and a tweezer, which are always useful when assembling or disassembling a lock.

Another crucial part of this set is the lock clip. Place the needle of the lock clip at the bottom of the (already unlocked) keyhole to push all the pins in the lock down into the housing.

Next, you can use one of the three plug followers to push the cylinder core out of the lock. The plug followers have a special groove that slides over the needle of the lock clip. One of the plug followers is hollow inside, designed for locks with tailpieces, so you can slide it over them.

There are also three plug follower segments included in the set. These are small metal caps that can be used as alternative plug followers.

The final essential tool in the set is the clip removal hook. Many cylinder locks have a small C-shaped clip at the front. With this special tool, you can easily remove the clip.
