The Skylender Fusion Core combines two cylinder types in a single training lock. One side features a Euro profile, while the other side has a dimple profile. This setup allows for targeted training on two different lock architectures without the need for multiple practice locks.

The lock has a modular construction with side screws that give you access to the pins. Using the included Allen key, you can loosen the Allen screws and replace springs and pins as desired. This enables you to precisely adjust the difficulty level to match your training goals. You can start with a simple configuration and gradually add security pins such as spools and serrated pins.

The cylinder uses standard pin sizes that you can supplement with loose pin sets. To expand your training options, various pin and spring combinations are available. The variation in pin types and configurations provides a training path that aligns with different lockpicking techniques such as single pin picking and various rake methods.

A recommended tool for configuring the pins of the lock is the Grimgo Pinning tweezers. The small notch in these tweezers allows you to easily insert or remove the pins. A must-have for anyone working with pins.

One side of the training lock has open grooves, allowing you to observe the pin movement during practice. The other side is closed for realistic training without visual feedback. This gives you the choice between instructive exercises where you can see the mechanics and challenging sessions that approach real lockpicking situations.

The set includes a basic configuration with key pins, driver pins, and springs. The training lock has dimensions of 30/10/30 mm and fits in standard vises. For use with an electric lockpick gun, it is important to regularly check the Allen screws as vibrations may loosen them. The lock is suitable for use with various lockpick sets and pick profiles.
