There are some tedious steps when disassembling a lock, such as removing the C-clips.
Sparrows’ copper practice locks have a rotating back, but many other locks (like our clear cylinder lock) have a C-clip to hold the core firmly in place.
This handy and small tool (designed by Lock Noob) wrenches away a large amount of C-clips.
The Gut Wrench can even store the core if you have taken the lock apart. This will prevent the core from rolling over and will keep all the pins in the core.
