The Multipick QA Pro 2 is a destructive cylinder puller for fast emergency openings. The tool uses a lever principle to break cylinder locks from the door. The set includes all required components in a plastic case.

Application

This cylinder puller is intended for emergency services and professionals who need to gain access to a space within 20 seconds. Fire departments, police and rescue services use this type of tool in emergency situations.

Using the QA Pro 2 causes damage to the lock and possibly to the door. This is the trade-off between speed and damage.

How It Works

You drive a V-PRO pull screw into the cylinder front. The pull screw is self-tapping and requires no pre-drilling. You attach the pull screw to the QA Pro 2. By moving the lever down, you extract the cylinder from the lock.

Two things can happen. With cheaper locks, the spine of the lock breaks and the entire cylinder falls out of the door. With stronger locks, you extract only the core from the housing. In both cases, you gain access to the locking mechanism.

The QA Pro 2 works with a lever and a reinforced chain. The protective jaws rest against the lock, ensuring the pulling force is directed at the lock itself rather than the door hardware.

Actuator Key

The set includes an actuator key for operating the locking mechanism after the cylinder or core has been removed. The key has different ends for various lock mechanisms.

V-PRO Pull Screws

The set includes 20 V-PRO pull screws in two sizes: 4.8 mm and 5.5 mm. These screws are self-tapping and made from hardened steel. They are reusable.

Core Pulling Plates

The set includes two core pulling plates: one for profile cylinders and one for round cylinders. These plates allow you to extract only the core from the cylinder housing.

The QA Pro 2 is made from hardened steel with a reinforced chain and robust lever construction. The tool is virtually maintenance-free.

Protective Jaws

The QA Pro 2 has aluminum protective jaws that prevent damage to the door surface during extraction. The set includes a spare set of jaws. Protective jaws are only used with the core pulling plates.

Included Tools

The set includes a Wiha Torx TX-20 wrench for manually tightening pull screws. For faster operation, a SchraubFix bit adapter is included for use with a cordless drill.
