Actuator Key (Short Model) – Lock Mechanism Key

The actuator key is used to operate lock mechanisms after the cylinder has been removed. This tool opens or closes a lock without a cylinder being present.

Function

After extracting a cylinder from a mortise lock, the lock mechanism remains in the door. Insert the actuator key into the opening where the cylinder was. By turning the key, you move the bolt of the lock.

This is used after destructive openings with cylinder pullers such as the Multipick Glocke or QA Pro 2.

Measuring Scale

The actuator key has a measuring scale. When you insert the key into the lock, you can read the required length of a new cylinder. This helps determine which cylinder to install as replacement.
