Actuator Key (Long Model) – Multifunctional Lock Tool

The long actuator key is a multifunctional tool for operating lock mechanisms after the cylinder has been removed. It combines several functions for working on door and window locks.

Function

After extracting a cylinder from the lock, insert the actuator key into the opening. By turning the key, you move the bolt. You can open and close the lock without a cylinder being present.

Conical Mandrel

The actuator key has a conical mandrel that replaces the door handle. Insert the mandrel into the lock and use it as a handle to operate the bolt.

Square Mandrel

The tool has a square mandrel that fits squares of 6, 7 and 8 millimeter diameter. Use the square mandrel to operate the lock mechanism directly.

Allen Key

At the tip of the actuator key is an allen key function. This allows you to mount or dismount door handles, which is useful when removing handles while working on the lock.

Measuring Scale

The actuator key features a measuring scale. When inserted into the lock, you can read the required length of a new cylinder. You measure the distance between the front of the lock and the lock case.

Bottle Opener

The other end of the tool features a bottle opener.

Comparison with Short Model

Multipick also makes a short version of the actuator key. The short model is more compact with fewer functions. The long model combines more tool functions in one design.
