Combpicks are bypass tools to easily open locks. They work on pin cylinder locks and padlocks with a wide key entrance seem especially vulnerable to them.
The way they pass the lock system is quite peculiar. This is because they push all the pins extremely deep, leaving the core of the lock free to turn. Because of this, the chance of damage does occur a bit more than with other lockpick techniques.
If you come across a padlock that is vulnerable to this technique it can usually be opened within seconds. As also shown in the video, you can also use these combpicks well on the transparent padlock.
