Do you want to duplicate a key without the original, for example, because you lost your key or have a broken key in the lock? This can be done using the technique of Key Impressioning. This technique is often used by professional locksmiths, enthusiastic lockpickers, and security experts. Below, we clearly explain how it works.

You start with an unprocessed, blank key that fits into the lock. By subtly turning the key, you will feel resistance from the so-called binding pins. These are pins that block the turning and leave clear markings behind.

Gently move the key up and down while applying light pressure. This will create small impressions on the key. With good lighting and possibly a magnifying glass, you can see exactly where to file.

Use a good key file and remove a small amount of material from the marked spots. Start carefully; you can always remove more material later. Repeat the process: key in the lock, apply light pressure, move from top to bottom and turn, check again and re-file.
After a few attempts, you will have created a working key yourself, completely without the original. This makes Key Impressioning ideal when you need extra keys quickly or when other solutions like buying a cylinder lock are not desired.
Do you prefer a quick solution without filing yourself? Then look for a professional locksmith. They will help you, and your key will be ready while you wait.

Buy a quick key maker set from us to copy keys. Ideal when you need a spare key quickly or want to duplicate special keys that are usually difficult to make.

With a key copying set, you can quickly and easily make a perfect copy of your key. Below we clearly explain how to proceed.
First, prepare all the necessary items: the plastic casting mold, two components for the cast, talcum powder, melting container, the metal, and a burner.
Mix the two different components until a uniform mass is formed. Place this mixture in the casting mold and sprinkle the surfaces with talcum powder to prevent sticking. Carefully place your original key in the mold, close it, and tighten it securely with the included clamp ring. After about five minutes, the cast will be ready.
Melt a metal disc from the set in the melting container using the included burner. Ensure that the metal is well liquefied. Then carefully pour the molten metal into the mold and let it harden for a few minutes.
Carefully open the mold and remove your new key. Check for excess edges and remove them with the included blade if necessary. Then test your new key directly in the lock.
With this set, you can easily make extra keys yourself. Ideal when you have lost your key or want to make extra keys without relying on a locksmith. Order the Quick-Key Easy Pro directly online from us.
