Sparrows Kickstart Expansion Set

If you already own your own Kick Start set from Sparrows, the next set to expand your lockpick arsenal with. You will soon find that you can open more locks.

With this set, you will receive more different rakes for your lockpick set, which will improve the speed at which you will open locks.
The set also includes a Shallow Euro hook, with this you can perform very advanced European SPP. In addition, you will receive a Twin Peak for raking and a Snake rake that is designed for Best locks, but you will find that it opens many more types of locks. To round out the set, it also includes a traditional half Diamond.
The six tension wrenches are also all different from the ones in the starter set.
The picks are made of strong steel, which Sparrows is known for. It works very nicely and you will notice this in the smooth finishes.

Technical Terms

The “”Best Buster“” is an alternative design to the traditional “”Snake Rake””. This rake is very effective on many different locks, but is made especially for locks where the pins have a flat profile.
The “”Twin Peak“” is most effective with a retreat, making it one of the most effective rakes available. This rake is different from most rakes because it causes a “”bump”” which is very similar to bumpkeys.
The “”Small Half Diamond“” is applicable to the pins of locks where normal Hook lock picks are not applicable, by acting like a wedge. The Half Diamond clamps itself under, and sometimes along, the pins that are placed too low, allowing the traditional Hook to get below.
The “”Shallow Euro Hook“” is made for the narrow keyholes with limited access, which you’ll encounter especially here in Europe. In addition, this lockpick is also very good to use with the advanced locks of Yale and Chubb, among others. Due to its weak curve and slim profile, the lockpick is able to slide past inserted pins of a narrow keyhole. The normal Short Hook is too big to do this.
All lock picks are made by Sparrows using only American 301 Cold Max steel that can withstand a pressure of 280,000 PSI.“
