Technical Specifications – Prototype Gen 0.9

Four pick profiles optimized via FEA analysis (Finite Element Analysis). This prototype is functional but unpolished. Material: 410 martensitic stainless steel, 42-52 HRC hardness.

Set Contents:

• 1× Short Hook (0.5mm) with 32mm effective shaft
• 1× Medium Hook (0.5mm) with 32mm effective shaft
• 1× Deep Hook (0.5mm) with 32mm effective shaft
• 1× Classic Triple Peak Rake (0.5mm) for raking technique
• 3× TOK Tension Wrenches – Top-Of-Keyway tensioners, 0.6-1.2mm thicknesses
• 3× BOK Tension Wrenches – Bottom-Of-Keyway tensioners, comparable thicknesses

Geometric Properties:

Shaft profile: 0.5mm thickness for Euro-cylinder compatibility. Effective shaft length 32mm (measured from first support point to tip). Progressive taper from handle to 2mm tip diameter, designed for minimal deflection under operational loading.

Tension wrench specifications: Hardness optimized for consistent force retention. Material properties prevent permanent deformation under normal operational stress. Thickness variance 0.6-1.2mm accommodates diverse keyway configurations.

Prototype Status & Feedback Program:

Development phase: This is Gen 0.9, a functional prototype without polishing finish. Aside from minor cosmetic artifacts, this set is remarkably well-executed and confirms FEA analysis predictions. How does it perform in practice? For this, we require assistance from all lockpickers across Europe.
