10-Pin Cutaway Practice Lock

If you think you’ve got the game down, then you can try your hand at this dimple lock with 10 pins.

The slot is pinned differently on two sides, so you have two different challenges to beat.

These locks work pretty much the same as other cylinder locks, like these. The major difference is that the pins in this lock can only be lockpicked sideways. A Dimple lock thus requires special lock picks and skills.

With dimple picks you can open these locks. Dimple picks are special lock picks that use what are called Flag tips, a tip that resembles a flag. You can find them in our range of lockpick sets.

Like other locks, this lock has a metal casing, making it very durable. Part of the housing has been milled away, so you can see the pins of the lock working well. The part that is milled away is just enough so that the pins don’t fall out of the lock so don’t worry, they stay in the lock.
