Blind Bar Set (Six)

People often say that your Lockpicking set should contain more tension wrenches than lock picks. Here at Lockpickings.com, we couldn’t agree more.

The variation in widths between all the different keyholes out there is enormous. If you want to train your lockpicking skill on a lock of American origin, you will probably need a thick tension wrench to turn the lock. The 1.15 mm (P1) wrench might be useful for these wider (American) keyways.
All tension wrenches thinner than 1 mm will be very useful for European locks.

You can use a (Top Of Keyway) TOK tension wrench by placing it at the bottom of the keyhole. This may sound confusing, but the TOK tension wrench was invented in America. In America, lock cylinders are rotated 180 degrees so that in their case the bottom of the keyhole is at the top.

Once you have placed the TOK tension wrench on the side where the pins align (bottom or top), you should be able to apply tension to the lock cylinder.

The Blind Bars leave more room in the keyhole than a regular tension wrench. This space is ideal for you to use your lock picks in.

There are several different shapes in this set. From the traditional TOK tension wrenches (P1 & P2) to the more advanced TOK tension wrenches with depth limiters for EU locks (A1 & A2) and to round out the set there are two TOK tension wrenches without teeth.
