ABUS C83 30/10 mm

Who is the ABUS C83 half cylinder for?

The ABUS C83 is a half euro profile cylinder that you can use as a practice lock or install in a door where only one side requires a key, such as a garage door or a storage room. For lockpickers, it is an advanced lock: on the LPU belt ranking, the C83 is rated blue. Beginners might want to skip this one until they can easily open standard cylinder locks.

What do you get with the ABUS C83?

You will receive a complete half door cylinder with keys:

• 1 half euro profile cylinder, size 10-30 mm
• Brass housing, nickel-plated finish
• Locking mechanism with 5 pins in a row
• 3 keys

Since it is a half cylinder, you do not need to mount it in a door to practice: clamp it in a bench vise and you can get started right away. The 10-30 size fits in most standard door fittings.
