This consummate professional lockpick set includes 11 lock picks with thermo handles and 18 different tension wrenches, all packaged in a black Sherman case.
The handles are made of thermo-plastic coating that is firmly connected to the lock picks. This gives you a permanent smooth and comfortable grip on your lock picks. The handle of the lock picks goes all the way to the back of the lockpick. This results and extra firmness and feedback through the handle.
With a wide selection of Hooks, Rakes, and Diamond picks you should be able to lockpick almost any lock. The set contains no duplicate or unusable lock picks.

Technical Terms

The “Best Buster” is an alternative design to the traditional “Snake Rake”. This rake is very effective on many different locks, but is made especially for locks where the pins have a flat profile.
The “Twin Peak” is most effective with a retreating motion, making it one of the most effective rakes available. This rake is different from most rakes because it causes a “bump” which is very similar to bumpkeys.
The “Worm Rake” is designed to mimic as many different key profiles as possible. This Worm rake is designed to lockpick Abus, Master, and Schlage locks, among others.
The “Triple Peak” is used with a retreating motion and is one of the most effective rakes available. This rake is different from most rakes because it causes a “bump” which is very similar to bumpkeys. This lockpick is very similar to the “Twin Peak”.
The “Steep Hook” is very similar to the High Reach Hook, but on the other hand is geared more towards the narrow keyholes with limited movement space of highly sophisticated locks. With its reduced and slim profile, this lockpick works very well on European locks.
The “Small Half Diamond” is applicable to the pins of locks where normal Hook lock picks are not applicable, by acting like a wedge. The Half Diamond clamps itself under, and sometimes along, the pins that are placed too low, allowing the traditional Hook to get below.
The “Offset Hybrid” is a combination of a Shallow Hook and a rounded Half Diamond. The wedge-like tip and specially rounded edges slide through the keyhole, so to speak. This lockpick serves as a fulcrum in your set and you will find that this lockpick will make extremely fine and controlled movements. This is crucial in ASSA locks, for example.
The “Short Hook” (also known as “Lifter”) is one of your first choices from your lockpick arsenal. This pick is the most versatile and widely used lockpick available. This Hook lockpick is designed to allow the lockpicker to feel the intricacies at each metal pin in the lock. In addition, the lockpick can also be used with a rake technique, allowing you to place multiple pins at the same time. The Short Hook is applicable to many different keyholes and pin profiles.
The “City Rake” is a well-known rake that has proven to be indispensable in every lockpick set. This lockpick is fantastic for manipulating the most common commercial and residential lock pin profiles.
The “Shallow Euro Hook” is made for the narrow keyholes with limited access, which you encounter especially here in Europe. In addition, this lockpick is also very good to use with the advanced locks of Yale and Chubb, among others. Due to its weak curve and slim profile, the lockpick is able to slide past inserted pins of a narrow keyhole. The normal Short Hook is too big to do this.
The “High Reach Hook” is designed to reach high, as well as very short pins that are hiding behind a very low or long pin. The small dent (or bump) at the tip provides additional control on the pin. This is very useful when trying to lockpick pins from the side.

All lock picks are made by Sparrows using only American 301 Cold Max steel that can withstand a pressure of 280,000 PSI. All lock picks are made by Sparrows.
