Away from that door I have a VORAX!
This set gives you a wide range of lockpick tools in a strong black storage folder.
The Vorax is a combination of the Original Wizwazzle Lockpick set, the SSDeV Hook Picks and the laser-crafted SANDMAN. The story below.
The result is a lockpick set of 15 pieces that allows you to make good use of Raking, Single Pin Picking and deep lockpicking in very sophisticated locks.
There are Comb bars in The Vorax, in addition to the traditional tension wrenches, with a tubular tension wrench so you can single pin pick your own tubular locks (radial locks).
With the small four Comb picks and a large five comb pick, you can quickly open simple pin cylinder locks such as the Masterlock 140, 150 and many more.
One of the new lock picks is the Sandman where there is laser machining on the handle.
All of this comes in a MULTICAM black storage case with a 3D Sparrows patch giving you a set that lets you eat through anything.
All lock picks have a thermal handle and are made of 0.64 mm thick stainless steel.

When Sparrows was at the swap meet in the past, there were a couple of guys who told how they were at the Soldier of Fortune convention at the Sahara in Las Vegas. They told a story about how there was a guy who was at these conventions in the 80s and sold lock picks in a small booth there. There he sold mostly HPC brand sets, but he also sold someone else’s homemade lock picks. The homemade lockpick they could remember best, because it was so beautiful, is the “Sandman.
Purely out of interest, Sparrows sent a few emails to see what they could find out about this.
It took a while, but in time they received some details and found out that the man who made these lock picks was a DJ from the 80s who worked under the name “DrDave”.
Well, they found DrDave. Turns out he still lives in Vegas and has been lockpicking since the 1960s. The best part is – he sent Sparrows a Sandman and it really turned out to be a totally different design than any other lockpick they have. With a few minor tweaks, a few lasers for some extra art on the handles and he was done. A completely new lockpick.
The Sandman is a double-sided Rake, as well as a Single Pin Lockpick – originating in Las Vegas.
