THE MONSTRUM

After more than a year of development, several designs and trial versions, “The MONSTRUM” is finally finished.

If you are just starting out with lockpicking, The MONSTRUM you like and if you don’t have any lock picks at all yet, then this set is made for you.

In addition to all the lock picks from the standard MONSTRUM, this lockpick set includes some must-haves that every lockpicker must own. These include the Short Hook, Twin Peak, Euro Hook, Snake Rake, and a Triple Peak*. These lock picks all come with Sparrows classic Thermo handles.
In addition, this set also includes a collection of Tension wrenches with different widths.

LET’S DISCUSS THE SET

The MONSTRUM consists of fourteen carefully polished lock picks with thermo handles. Each lockpick is designed to meet your unique Single Pin Pick and Raking needs.
The set also includes a laser-engraved XL Octo Rake…. When they first saw this rake at Sparrows they thought they had scaled it wrong (it’s big). After some testing, the effectiveness was proven. This Octro rake cracks locks… Literally!
To make sure you’re only buying new, Sparrows has provided the Flat Bars tension wrenches with extra teeth. This gives you extra grip during the “Top Of Keyway” tension.
This all comes together, as Sparrows has teamed up with the guys at Kryptek to use a unique Typhon camouflage pattern on their Sherman case.

The NAME?

This set had in development the title of “The Kraken” the great mythical beast. The Kraken is said to live in the seas around Norway and is also described as – Lonely Monstrum, “a unique monster”. Well, that seemed to fit this set just fine – THE MONSTRUM by Sparrows.

Please be aware that the pattern on the storage folder may vary. We have no influence on this. In the product images you will find three examples.

All picks with rubber handles are .024″ thick, the large rake is .031″ thick, the two pry bar-like tools are .024″ and .031″, the remaining tension tools are .018″ and .024″.
