This extra-large cylinder is made to give you a new row of locking pins with every 90-degree rotation.
The lock’s pin profile begins at 12 o’clock with a row of standard pins marked with a small arrow. Turn it a quarter turn clockwise and you get a row of Spool pins. At half past five you will find a row of Serrated pins and finally, at quarter to nine, a row of Mushroom pins.
So you will find four different types of security pins in this lock that become progressively more difficult to lockpick with each quarter turn rotation.
The profile of a row of security pins is as follows: Standard pin (1), Security pin (2), Standard pin (3), Security pin (4), Standard pin (5).
Maybe you don’t feel like a complicated practice slot for a while…. Why do it the hard way when it can be done the easy way? Life is sometimes as tough enough. If so, you’re in luck, because The Revolver by Sparrows can be easily taken apart with an Allen wrench.
With the Revolver, you receive all the parts you need to remove some pins from the lock and make the lock easier for lockpicking.
Sparrows also added additional security pins and drilled an extra chamber to equip The Revolver with 6 ROOMS! So this also allows you to make the practice slot more difficult for you.
You can equip The Revolver with the pins from the Reload Set, the chess pins, and the Master Key set.
The Security pins are from the keyhole in the order: Standard pin (1), Security pin (2), Standard pin (3), Security pin (4), Standard pin (5).
There is also a 6th spot open to insert an additional key and locking pin if necessary.
The Revolver by Sparrows comes with some extras:
Sparrows’ tweezers are specially designed to easily grab the small pins for the lock. This is a good addition to make it a lot easier on yourself.
