If you have never used a pear-shaped pippin file before, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. These files are not the locksmith’s favorite choice for nothing.
Today, Grobet’s pippin files are hard to find, but we have made them available to you.
After extensive research, we tested other pippin files and found that these were not the real pippin files. One file did not have the correct pippin shape and was probably not of Swiss/Italian make. I can assure you that our pippin files are of the highest quality. We also offer the popular 4-cut fine pippin file.
Pippin files taper in width and thickness to perfectly process the grooves of a key. These files are made to create openings where you think an opening is needed.
They combine the cross sections of a round file with a cross file and the edge of a knife file.
The file is double-sided cut and single-sided cut at the top and bottom.
Grobet Swiss Pattern precision files are the world standard for quality and performance.
ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING PIPPIN FILES.
