Reportedly, Peterson looked to the design of other manufacturers to improve the design of this wavy Rake. The curves in the pick have been adjusted so that the tool is now even more functional. The final result looks like Peterson’s original C4, but seems to be much better according to all the reviews.

Locks opened: Master 141, master 3, a few cheap plate cylinders, money safes, and the Y1 Euro cylinder.

This lockpick is made of 0.025” Government Steel, but have no handle. This is the thickest series of lock picks from Peterson. Although 0.025” is thicker, than Peterson’s 0.015” and 0.018” picks, they do have a “Euro” neck reduction. This neck reduction is made to form more room for movement in hard-to-reach keyholes.

These picks are very useful for locks with narrow keyholes that require more force than the 0.015” and 0.018” picks can provide.

Impressions: Super! In the past, I didn’t like Raking, as I had little luck with this. “Rocking” did work with my City and Bogota Rake, but otherwise little success…. This is the only Rake that I really have success with by applying the traditional rake technique (from the inside out as opposed to “Rocking/Swinging”). Wafer locks have become a breeze, as have Master 3s. In addition, the Pick virj is comfatable in geburik. I noticed that the profile is virj identical to the 3/5 of the Sine Quint Wonder Waves. Normally I don’t include rakes in my favorite selection, but for this rake I’ll make an exception.
